CRIMINAL DEFENSE

        We practice criminal defense in the Municipal, District, Superior and Federal courts. Our experience defending against criminal charges and prosecutions covers a wide range of offenses from DUI to Murder in the First Degree. A large percentage of our cases involve embezzlements, complex drug conspiracies, sex offenses, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and both misdemeanor and felony Domestic Violence.

        We are experienced representing persons accused in federal court of a variety of business related offense, from securities fraud, wire fraud, mortgage fraud and bank fraud. We also represent individuals accused of illegally importing drugs into this country.

BUSINESS/TRANSACTIONAL

       
We also serve clients in general civil transactional matters. We have experience in the formation and maintenance of businesses of various sizes and types, including sole proprietorships, closely held corporations and multi-million dollar organizations. We represent clients on licensing issues, real estate matters, employment issues and business acquisitions.

        We also represent private individuals on real estate purchases, contract formations and issues pertaining to the Uniform Commercial Code.

COMMERCIAL LITIGATION

       
Our clientele includes private individuals, small businesses and large multi-million dollar corporations. We are prepared to represent clients in pursuing and defending employment actions, fraud in the purchase of securities, breach of contract, fraudulent conveyances of land, interference with business relations and litigation pertaining to the Uniform Commercial Code.

ESTATE PLANNING

       
Consistent with our community mindedness, we assist and work with many clients and their families in formalizing their estate plans. We prepare wills, powers of attorney, community property agreements and other documents as needed or requested. We bring legal actions, when necessary, and handle various transactions to effectuate individual and family estate plans. We are experienced in guardianship and probate matters.

GENERAL CIVIL LITIGATION

       
Our office represents plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury actions. Our litigation experience includes wrongful death actions, permanent disability claims, tavern liability, employment discrimination, negligent supervision lawsuits and professional malpractice (medical and legal) claims.

PROBATE/ESTATE SETTLEMENT

     We advise and work with clients in all aspects of estate settlement from traditional probate proceedings to alternative non-probate techniques to effect the transfer of a decedent's assets to his or her heirs. We are experienced in working with the Courts, financial institutions and other third parties to facilitate the timely and efficient distribution of assets and final estate settlement.

GUARDIANSHIP/ELDER LAW

     As a part of our comprehensive services we help families faced with the difficulties of a loved one with disabilities or in the need of assistance.  We advise and assist our clients with disability planning, long term care options and benefit qualification. We are also experienced in working with clients on guardianship matters including assessing the need for a guardianship, alternatives to guardianship and all aspects of guardianship proceedings: establishment of a guardianship, actions during an existing guardianship and closing a guardianship.
